POWER ⚡︎ STABTM Continuously Variable Auto Transformer (Dimmerstat) — Single Phase

The Continuously Variable Auto Transformer, commonly known as a Dimmerstat or Variac, provides smooth, stepless manual control of AC voltage from 0V to 270V from a 240V supply. Unlike a stabilizer that fixes the output at a set point, the CVAT allows the operator to set any output voltage continuously — making it indispensable in testing laboratories, industrial process heating, lighting control, and educational electronics labs. Available in open frame or enclosed box types, and optionally motorised for remote or automated control.
